Staying at the dinner table can be harmful for your health.

My family doesn't eat together. If we tried to do that, we'd all starve slowly and painfully to death. People come home from work, uni, school, wherever... and they sit down and eat. If they want, they can stick around after they eat for some socialising. Which is really what eating dinner together as a family is all about, right?

I have almost undeniable proof that staying behind after eating can be hazardous to your mental health, though. For today, this jewel of wisdom came from my brother's mouth.

Jiannin : *peeling rambutan to eat*
Ian : Hey! *picks up a rambutan and looks at it thoughtfully"
Jiannin : What... *starts chewing on the rambutan*
Ian : ... if you shave a rambutan.... what do you get? *takes a small knife and starts cutting the little appendages away*

-a minute later-

Ian : Look! A bald Rambutan! 'AN!'
Jiannin and everyone else : har??
Ian : no RAMBUT ma...





Evie apparently rubbed off more on my family than I thought.
